Unsettled Woman

Unsettled woman
None can please her
Nor put a smile on her
Face
For her heart is frozen
Locked away in a
Dark
Dark
Place
Unsettled woman
Always asking and searching for
More
More than any person
On earth
Could ever give
Her
Unsettled woman
Her words are like
Daggers
Just like her
Tiger eyes
Though in the end
It’s all just a
Convincing
Pitiful
Disguise
Designed to hide
Her broken
Empty
Self
Unsettled woman
Her steps are
Purposeful and
Stiff
As every night she
Cries less and
Less
Instead
Drawing nearer to the
Crumbling edge of the
Abandoned
Cliff
Unsettled woman
Her soul forever to
Roam
Her existence
Lonelier than
Any
Will ever
Know
